History of the Jawapro Name

The fool who calls himself Jawapro has been known by a lot of different names over the years.

• Jawapro
• Dolphin Man
• Sideburnz
• Headless Moron
• Headless Fred
• Moronic Invaders
• Headless Invaders
• Etc

But by far the most common is Jawapro.

So where did that name come from?

Well, Jawas are little short creatures from Star Wars that scavange on the planet Tatooine.
   
They are pretty weak, and get picked on a lot. But I liked them, and one day dreamed up a story where the Jawas hired some people, and over the years built up a secret organization thats goal was to provide protection for the Jawas. So secret, that even the Jawas had forgotten they existed. Anyway - this secret organization was known as the "Jawa Protectors".

Anyway - although I was originally thinking of writing a fan story about them, I quickly gave up and decided the idea was stupid, but that was after the following event.

 
I was playing an old DOS flight-sim game called "F1-17" at my friends place. And the pilot I was playing as died, and the game has an policy that states "The United States Military does not allow deceased pilots to fly million-dollar aircraft" or something to that effect. So I had to create a new pilot.

And for some unknown reason, I decided to call the pilot "Jawa Protector".

But the game had a limit of 8 characters, so I got as far as "Jawa Pro" before I ran out. I decided to use that anyway.

And the name stuck - I liked it, so I used it a lot. Not many people know what the Pro part stands for, although after reading this they will.

Anyway - so that's where the name came from.

These days there are people who know me as Jawa or Jawapro and dont even know my real name.

And there are other people who know me as Headless too.

And of course a lot of other less flattering names - but I'm not going to go into them.
