Rumour has it that there may be a day of action on the trebuchet on Thursday. We have a public holiday down here due to Hobart Show, so Darth has requested that I turn up at his place and we get into it. Hopefully I can make it...

Ah, my first comment! And now I can tell you that the email feature to email the original poster is working successfully for me!

I'll post more details as soon as I know whether I will be heading down or not. Probably tomorrow, cos after that it's Thursday!

So you know, its not happening today, Darth pulled out. But hopefully we can do it tomorrow instead. I haven't got in contact with him yet, but when I have I'll post the details here again.

I think the honourable turkeybrain doesn't have the time to upload the new photos we took last friday (i think it was friday)  so i'll give those who read comments a little update;

the throwing arm is complete, including the 19 roofing screws and lots of liquid nails
and we have the a frame planned out and mostly cut.  thats about all
oh and we have pretty much all the wood planned out.

Yes, Darth Strawberry speaks the truth. We did actually manage to do something, I just haven't had the time to go and write it up yet. I have uploaded photos to http://www.turkeybrain.com/pictures/treebucket/20071026/  if you want to look, but they aren't exactly exciting without a bit of commentary! Look if you wish, but I will work on it and hopefully have it done on Monday.
